Controls Engineering
We are here to assist in the selection of components and technology to help ensure your automation project is a success.

For example, assume you need to control field devices 30 feet away from your main work cell panel. There are numerous ways to accomplish this task:
-
Run a multi-conductor cable to a junction box with terminal strips
-
Run an ethernet and 24V power cable to an I/O block

-
Run a single I/O Link cable to a slave I/O block
All of these options will get the job done but we have the expertise to help you determine which would be the most efficient for you and your bottom line.
Panel Building
We have the capability to both engineer and build an industrial control panel for any unique situation that may arise.

A few examples of panels we have created:
-
Temperature controlled panels containing IPCs

-
Outdoor panels with both AC and DC power to run field devices
-
Main workcell panels with separate 480V and control voltage sides to reduce Arc Flash hazards
Whether an industrial control panel is needed for an end user or contracted machine builder, we can offer a cost conscious solution.
Controls Upgrades
The old adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," works in some cases but is not recommended when it comes to control systems. By running outdated or obsolete systems, you run the risk of needing a PLC I/O card that is no longer available through the manufacturer.

After a needs assessment, we can provide a budget conscious quote to upgrade your current system to one that is warrantied and supported by the manufacturer.
